Allied closely with the rendering industry (for certain poultry and fish products) is the production of enzyme hydrolysates and peptones, including spray drying of the latter. A natural adjunct to the production of fats and oils, such as in the rendering and soybean industries, is the further processing of these into bio-diesel fuel. CAT offers technology, experience and services for this process whether the feedstock is virgin or waste product, animal or vegetable origin.
